Polyaluminium Chloride Is Widely Used

Newstime:2026-03-26        Source:Polyacrylamide

The excellent water purification efficacy of polyaluminium chloride products is now widely recognised. Due to its high purification efficiency with minimal dosage during wastewater treatment, it has gained extensive application within the water treatment industry. Indeed, it remains a perennial favourite within the wastewater treatment sector. But why has polyaluminium chloride achieved such widespread adoption in water treatment applications?

Firstly, its affordability. Among all water purification agents, polyaluminium chloride is comparatively inexpensive, primarily due to the low cost of its raw materials: calcium aluminate powder and hydrochloric acid. This is particularly true in Henan Province, which boasts abundant bauxite deposits. Furthermore, hydrochloric acid is supplied by local manufacturers, further reducing the product's overall cost. Consequently, Zeseng's polyaluminium chloride remains competitively priced. Moreover, the ability of polyaluminium chloride to replace other water treatment chemicals stems from its excellent efficacy. It exhibits rapid flocculation and sedimentation rates, while requiring relatively lower dosage compared to similar products. Consequently, Zeseng's polyaluminium chloride finds extensive application.
Polyaluminium Chloride Is Widely Used
How can polyaluminium chloride be used to achieve optimal results? Generally, the dosage of polyaluminium chloride varies depending on water quality. For low-turbidity water, solid polyaluminium chloride should be diluted at a ratio of 1:3. Stir thoroughly until completely dissolved. Note that solid polyaluminium chloride must not be added directly to wastewater. For domestic sewage treatment, commence with an addition rate of 30 grams of polyaluminium chloride per tonne of water. Similarly, only the diluted product should be added. Should the treatment effect prove inadequate, the dosage may be correspondingly increased or decreased. For paper mill wastewater treatment, initially prepare the solution using the dosage ratio for low-turbidity water. If the effect is unsatisfactory, the dosage may be moderately increased.

When used in rural settings, it is advisable to add the prepared solution to a container and stir thoroughly. Allow it to settle. Once clear liquid forms on the surface, it is ready for use. Typically, add approximately 1 gram of polyaluminium chloride per 50 kilograms of water. However, combining it with the high-molecular-weight flocculant polyacrylamide yields superior results. Polyacrylamide effectively accelerates adsorption and sedimentation rates, enhancing water treatment efficacy.
