Product Detail:Cationic polyacrylamide, known as CPAM, is a linear polymeric macromolecule. Its molecular weight ranges from 800,000 to 1,200,000. The optimal percentage range for ionic degree and water solubility is between 20% and 50%. It dissolves in water at any con
Application:Treatment of difficult-to-treat wastewater from industries such as dyeing, mineral processing, coal
Cationic polyacrylamide is a highly reactive flocculant capable of coagulating numerous impurities. Upon adsorption, it forms hydrogen bonds. It possesses properties including decolourisation, dehydration, oil removal, contaminant elimination, and binding. Consequently, it is suitable for municipal sewage, industrial effluent, and chemical wastewater treatment. Cationic polyacrylamide is commercially available in two forms: solid granular and liquid solution. Currently, solid polyacrylamide is more favoured domestically. Liquid CPAM is less common due to its higher freight costs. Its specialised form necessitates transport via tankers. Solid polyacrylamide boasts a shelf life of up to two years, whereas liquid CPAM has a shelf life of less than six months.
