Products with a higher degree of ionisation contain more quaternary ammonium monomers, resulting in a higher price. For pure cationic PAM with a degree of ionisation of 10, the unit price is $2,450 per tonne. The unit price for pure cationic PAM with a degree of ionisation of 60 is $3,600.
Non-ionic polyacrylamide price
Non-ionic polyacrylamide priced below $1,600 per tonne is not necessarily pure. The exact price depends on the blending ratio. Consequently, prices ranging from $450 to $1,470 per tonne are quite common in the market.
